Tuesday Trivia

(By YetiVedder)

I hate Tuesday!  It is the day of the week where you have nothing to look forward to.  Yeti Vedder wants to help you with this!  Every Tuesday, Yeti Vedder (or any trivia company that would like to sponsor us!) will ask you 5 questions from 5 different categories. The first to reply with the 5 correct answers in the comment section will win a prize. The prize could be anything from a solid compliment to a canned good from my kitchen cupboard. In the future, when this blog is huge, you will win bigger and better prizes, but for now work with me people! I’m trying to help you kill some time at work and we all know you are just going to Google the answers anyway!

1.  Sports – The longest baseball game was played at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket. Name the MLB Hall of Fame players that played in that game. Also name the 2 pitchers that pitched in that game that also pitched in the 1986 World Series.

2.  Television – What was the name of the monkey on Friends that belonged to Ross?

3.  Presidents – Who was the youngest president to ever hold office?

4.  Movies – What actor has been nominated for 8 Best Actor Academy Awards, but has never actually won for the category?

5.  Music – There have been 4 people to sing lead vocals on Van Halen albums. Name all four. Here is a hint for one… Bosey bosey bop, ditty bop!

Good luck!

About yetivedder

Straight outta Cumberland, R.I. is a crazy mother f'er named Yeti. I will steal your food, drink, and girl all while you are not looking. He might actually do it while you are looking but be very polite while taking all three. He will also do it in that order mainly because he is always hungry, thirsty, and horny! The Yeti will throw the greatest party that you won't remember, because he needs to remain a figment of your imagination. He wants the ladies to think that they may or may not have made love to a giant man last night while feeding him a steak and cheese sandwich! The Yeti is all about getting people to make bad decisions, but yet these bad decisions just feel so right. The Yeti is a diehard sports fan and is never afraid to show his team colors. He also isn't afraid to talk about himself in the third person like the greatest of all time Ricky Henderson! Yeti Likes: Easy women, cheap beer, expensive beer being given out for free, Red Sox baseball KFC and all, Lakers basketball, Metta World Peace, Bruins, Mashmond, Patriots, and bringing Randy Moss back! Easy women, URI basketball, old school WWF wrestling... Yeah I said F!, J's Deli samiches. Sponsor the Yeti page with some free sandwiches!!! More beer, and easy women! Tupac, Biggie, Snoop, Dre, Jay-Z Yeti dislikes: Wine drinkers that think they are better then me, Yeti hunters on TV that have no idea where Yeti's hang out! Hard women... Take that however you'd like... New school WWE, Any rapper with Lil or a direction in their name. Models who refuse to date me, when all I want to do is feed them. Relish of any kind... It is a Yeti kyrptonite.

    Ugh! 1 out of 5!
    1. Hall of Famers- Cal Ripen Jr, Wade Boggs
    2. Marcel! Only one I got on the first try.
    3. Peter O’Toole (Clooney only had 3 with no wins!)
4.Teddy Roosevelt is the youngest to serve. JFK was the youngest elected… I was close-ish…
    5. I could only find 3 that sang lead vocals for Van Halen- David Lee Roth (That’s the one I knew, but couldn’t remember.); Sammy Hagar; Gary Cherone. Eddie Van Halen is listed only as backup vocals for Van Halen, but as lead when they were called Mammoth…does that count?

      Pitchers-Bob Ojeda & Bruce Hurst.

BTW…33 innings? That is INSANE! I wonder if anyone was still in the stands at the end! I wouldn’t have lasted past the 15th, and only if I was in really good company! 😉
